Why you should replace your valve
Valves should be replaced every time when the tyre is removed, for repair or replacement. During use, the valve deteriorates due to ageing and centrifugal force.
Wheel Balancing
After your tyre has been removed for repair or replacement, a wheel balance will need to be carried out. To eliminate any vibration caused by an imbalance in the rotating wheel/tyre unit.
Puncture repairs
All our tyre repairs are repaired to BASAU 159F standard, using REMA TIPTOP repair materials
Wheel Torque
After each wheel has been replaced, we re-torque the wheel to each car manufactures recommended torque setting.
Tyre disposal
All our worn tyres are stored in a specific storagecontainer. A collector takes responsibility for collecting, storing and transporting them to treatment centres. A worn tyre can be retreaded, burnt as fuel in cement factories or shredded to crumbs to be used in surfaces for sports grounds, play areas or in roads. This is to comply to current EEC laws in the diposal and storage of old and worn tyres.
